The Central Dauphin Football Program is one of a kind. The team’s mission and character building focus, led by Coach Glen McNamee would make any parent proud. But to CD Football, it is more than just a game. You see, our Country’s Freedom comes with a price. The ultimate sacrifice. On November 11th, every single year, we celebrate and honor America’s Veteran’s for their willingness to serve and sacrifice for the common good of this nation. For the past 7 years, the Gold Star Mom Game, introduced by Suzanne Shaeffer, quickly became one of the most anticipated games of each season. The football team hand selects 16 athletes to represent fallen hero’s and at the game, are announced play by play as their hero, honoring their families. This November 11th, we release a trailer for a mini-doc about this incredible event. The full version will be released January 9, 2022 for the CD Football Banquet. Take a look, and thank those that fight for our country and our freedom. Especially today. We want to thank all of the community members in Lower Paxton Township that come together and support the Gold Star Mothers Game.
